One of Rotary's Five Avenues of Service
Rotary International wheel The Club Service "Avenue" promotes the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service. It involves the activities necessary to make the Club function successfully and achieve its goals.


Some of the Rotary Club of Newport's projects:

  • Weekly luncheon meeting to share activities and Club project developments
  • Working together on Club projects
  • Attending conferences, such as the District 5110 Conference
  • Fellowship, including the Summer Picnic at Literacy Park and our Club Christmas Party
  • Once-a-month Fellowship Makeup meeting at the Embarcadero Commodore room – second Wednesday of each month @ 5:15 pm.

5110 Conference, May 2011
5110 Conference, May 2011: A group of Newport Rotarians attended the District 5110 Annual Conference in Coos Bay. Also in attendance were the Rotary Club of Newport's two outbound exchange students and inbound student from Spain, Ana Mena.
